Post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Feel free to ask about anything and I'll tell you the premise or paste you a tidbit for any of these.

"Wait!" You might be saying to yourself. "merelyn never posts fic, does she even write?"

A better question would be, does merelyn ever finish anything? And the answer to that is mostly no, which is why I can do this meme. I am trying to get better at finishing things that I start, and maybe this will help.

Other than that, not much has been going on. I have the masochistic urge to write an HP fic (the definitive P/O Post-OoTP fic, for those of you who know), just to see how badly Book 6 will bad fuck it over. Also flirting with the idea of signing up for the midsummer_santa thing, never mind that I'm the slowest writer ever and would probably have a mental breakdown trying to meet the deadline.

Lj ate my last attempt at an update. Boo. This one's going to be shorter.

So. Vagina Monologues is over. This is sad, but I'm really glad I decided to do it. Not in the least because of everyone who came to see me. Thanks for that. Also, I hadn't been in a show in over a year, and I hadn't actually had a real character to play (with real lines) as opposed to a chorus part in a really long time. It was a pleasure. To stretch my acting muscles, as it were. I'm really proud of how it turned out. *g*

Other than that, crazy-busy, heading toward burn out. Can't wait for break.

1)You are such a beautiful person. I wish I could be like you. Anyway, talking with you always makes me feel so much better.

2)I'm glad you're back and I hope you're okay. I haven't seen you in forever, and I think that's mostly my fault. I feel like I've been a crappy, unavailable friend, but I'm still hoping that we actually do have one of those "pick right up where you left off" sort of relationships.

3) What the hell would I do without you? You're one of the few people in the world that I trust, that I know will always be there for me no matter what, no matter how whiny or depressing we both get. Because frankly, you need me as much as I need you and vice versa. How often does that happen?

4)You are the yang to my yin. Sometimes you're exactly what I need, and hanging out with you never gets old. I hope you get your life back on track. If anyone can do it, it's you, whether you realize that or not.

5) You are seriously one of my favorite people in the whole world. I love hanging out with you; sometimes it's the best part of my day. I wish you would relax somemore. You don't have to do it all on your own.

6)I feel like we'll never really be friends the way we used to be again. I'm so very, very sorry about that. Because really, it's all been my fault. And I've never apologized to you face to face.

12)I love you, and I always have fun hanging out with you. You're surprisingly easy to talk with about everything, though I think part of that is because I'm never quite sure if you're really listening.

13)I don't know you very well, but I really like you a lot. I wish I was into some of the fandoms you are so I could really appreciate your writing.

14)I love love *love* being nerdy with you, even if it doesn't always seem like it. Sorry about that.

15) Even though we're friends, I don't get you. Not really. I'll say this, though, you continue to surprise me.
