Okay, so, Donna is my favorite companion (followed by Martha, then Rose). I even liked her way back in the Runaway Bride, when most people thought she was pretty obnoxious.

One of my favorite Donna moments was in the very beginning of Season 4, when she says how, you know, she never quite managed to go traveling after the Runaway Bride after all. Because YES. It's all well and good when you're bouncing around in a spaceship to see things differently, but what happens when it's all over and you wake up in your bed and nothing is that different after all? Change doesn't hit you like a bolt of lightning and that's it. 99% of people *would* fall back into their old patterns, just like she did. I loved that Donna eventually broke out of her rut and did something about it. I loved that she wasn't just swept away into her adventure. I loved that Donna had to track the Doctor down herself. I LOVED her and Wilf. I loved that there was no romantic angst between her and the Doctor. I loved that she was able to take the piss out of him. I loved her attitude. I loved that she had to *work* for all the amazing things that happened to her. I loved that she earned it. I loved that she was so much more than she ever gave herself credit for being. I loved that she finally realized it at the end.

AND I HATE RTD FOR TAKING ALL OF THAT AWAY FROM HER.

Also, poor, poor Wilf for being the only one who really knows how awful it is. My heart absolutely broke for him too in the end.

The big Doctor family reunion was cute. I'm sorry though, the Rose/Ten ending was rather ridiculous. And if Mickey comes within two inches of Torchwood I'm going to vom.

Mostly I'm just sad and frustrated right now. Damn you, RTD.

I don't get why the parallel universe is a good place for a genocidal Doctor. I mean, it still counts if he kills an entire race in the parallel dimension....
