Went to [livejournal.com profile] volsi's birthday party. Met some cool people. Had a GREAT time. And the only thing that makes it better is that I get to watch Doctor Who now, and none of my roommates are going to be awake to ask me why I'll be clutching a pillow to death.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] cesperanza's latest post on why DH is awesome is so adorable I can't stand it.

Ah, sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I wanted to read all of them first, and I've had precious little fanfic time this week. (Boo.)

I've actually read both your SGA fics before- loved both of them, the first because I'm an AU whore- "Heat Wave" was particularly gorgeous. Your Notorious fic made me incredibly happpy as I adore Cary Grant. And Hitchcock. And the two of them together.

I just finished going through your Heroes fic, and I really liked them. The backstory in "Some Things Never Change" was great. I guess I'd hadn't thought much before about the rather large age difference between them (do we have any canon info on that?), but I liked the way you took the worshipful-younger-brother dynamic and developed it. Also, I'm taking a class right now at NYU, and you totally nailed all the details on that front. I'm assuming you went there? (Murray's Bagels = AWESOME)

I really loved the way the other two stories were set in these remote/exotic places, but they felt totally grounded in details so it wasn't like, say, Peter and Nathan in a Canadian Shack, yayz!

I'm going to start making my way through your other recs, though I have read the one by [livejournal.com profile] scribblinlenore because I can't NOT read her stuff. :)

Anyway, this is an incredibly long comment, so I'll just say thanks for pushing your fic on me.

Sorry it took me so long to respond to this!

We find out about half way through the season that Peter is 26. Nathan has to be at least 38 to do everything he's done, and Adrian Pasdar, who plays him, is 41 so it seems to make sense to make Nathan 12 years older than Peter.

I'm glad I got the NYU stuff right. I consulted a current NYU student friend, and I know the area and have lived in NYC for 7 years now. I went to Cornell University, though.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this stuff!
