Jan. 23rd, 2007 10:32 am*Okay, so I'm sure some fans are frustrated/scratching their heads as to why there was no mention at all about Carson, save for the awkward "Previously on Stargate Atlantis" moment. Not me. Any expectations of emotional continuity were squelshed out of me by Season 2. It's taken a while, but I'm come to appreciate SGA for the bottle show that it is. I could ramble on about this for a while, but I don't have the energy. Anyway, no Carson mention? Eh. Oh well. Oh, SGA. *pats SGA*
Besides, there was much to enjoy about this episode!
*Any episode that begins with Ronon being bored and sulky in the puddlejumper is okay in my book. Also, him and Rodney snarking at each other? "Oh, Zing!" So funny. Also, I loved that Teyla kicked Rodney out of his seat, and he let her! Aw. That's total devotion coming from Rodney.
*Rodney's thing for Batman continues! It's still cute. Also, if Rodney can't remember your name, it pretty much means your going to die. Sorry Gradin. And other guy.
*Teyla! Go Teyla! I really enjoyed her. It was great to see her struggling so hard to make things right and retain control of her body and the situation. Also, at the very beginning, right before she kicked Ronon's ass, I was like "OMG she's possessed! No!" and then it was totally CONFIRMED when she touched his arm and was sort of hitting on him, because it's SGA.
*Elizabeth. She didn't suck! ...yay?
*Any episode that ends with team nap time is okay in my book.
Overall I thought it was a very tight episode, very watchable, and I was so glad to see the Wraith back. She was actually sort of scary. I liked the direction a lot, it was horror-movie-tastic. Anyway, a decent, enjoyable ep. Woot.
