Have managed to survive loss of laptop for a week. Go me.

I'm in the library right now. No, I don't have a final today (I don't have one until Wednesday). Absolutely nothing to do, in fact.

You know what's really fun though? Coming in the quiet room of the library cafe, flopping in a chair, munching chips noisily and reading Entertainment Weekly while everyone around you studies with a silent, desperate (and then rather irritated) intensity.

What can I say? Boredom makes me a little mean.

You *are* mean, but in a very pink-tinted way, so I doubt anyone could stay mad at you. But I'm impressed you've survived this long without the laptop-- I'd be a gibbering wreck with pen ink all over my face...

I just don't think about the laptop thing. As far as I'm concerned, my baby has gone on vacation and will return shortly, untanned perhaps, but well-rested and all better.

Hmm. In my head that didn't sound nearly as crazy as it came out.
