It's almost Easter. I really kind of like Easter, not because of any religious thing, but because of spring, which is the best time of year, and, let's face it, the candy. I think it's one of my mom's favorite holidays too, and she not Christian either. Evidence: the only care package I've received from her to date (this Saturday) has been full of easter candy and a stuffed bunny. Along with a note that said this:

Happy Easter! May you find the renewal of spring an inspiration.

My other though is that if Jesus can reinvent himself, so can anyone else!!!

Sometimes I really love my mom.

Other than that, I've actually had kind of an irritable, sad sort of weekend. I guess the say that college is the time when you find yourself, and even though I was pretty damn sure I knew who I was already, thank you very much, the finding bit is happening rather against my will. I just realized that if I'm not careful, my existence will become entirely lazy and selfish and unproductive and lonely. I'm not okay with that, but I don't know exactly what to do about it.

Christ, I'm really fucking tired of introspection. It's exhausting.

I totally know what you mean about finding yourself. I thought I knew who I was too. Wrong again...I liked the message from your Mom, but when it comes to reinventing yourself, I think Cher wins.
