Jun. 25th, 2006 07:55 amWent to see "Love's Labor's Lost" at the Shakespeare Theatre. Not my favorite play, and certainly not Shakespeare's best, but very shiny and pretty to compensate. Normally the Shakespeare Theatre employs a much cleaner, less gimmicky approach to their productions, so it was an interesting change.
At least from what I saw.
Again, mental note: getting Standing Room Only tickets when you had to skip dinner and have been fainting recently = so not a good idea. I didn't even make it to intermission. The final score: Shakespeare Theatre Carpet- 1, Mere's face- Big Fat 0. Casualties: my glasses, which since have been bent back to normal. I look kind of like I came off the worse in an encounter with a very angry red permanent marker.
On a slightly cheerier note, all the (so! very! gay!) JF promo picture stuff and the resulting spate of hooker fic makes me happy. *happy*
