Feb. 12th, 2004 04:32 pmSo, Mere's health update: I have an incomplete fracture of my 5th metatarsal. Yay. I wasn't really expecting it to be fractured- I was only prepared to deal with, say, the minor indignities of a week on crutches. So, needless to say, it was a little frustrating to find out otherwise.
Now there are lots of other things I have to do that I really don't need right now. I have to go see an orthopedist tomorrow, which means I have to run by the Williamsburg Community Hospital to pick up my X-Rays sometime before that. I don't have a car to get to the hospital or the orthopedist. The bus is not an option. Hmm. Need to figure that out somehow.
I might not be able to go home tomorrow either. Grr. I would like nothing more than to have to be back in high school so my parents could deal with this. Being away from home, when car-less, can kind of blow.
Oh, and Petra. I have a new-found respect for you. I was just thinking about when you had crutches back in Middle School for God knows how long. I would have killed myself. Crutches suck.
