I got into Carnival! Wheee!!

But Erica and Maura, who I went to auditions with, didn't make it. Even though they were both really good when I heard them. Boo. I hate it when thigns like that happen. And when I said yesterday that I was going to check the cast list before my crit class this morning, Erica said wanted me to come tell her what happened. And I just did. Boo again. I feel about that.

Still, being in it should be fun.

Yay! Congratulations, that's so wonderful. Do you have a name? When is the performance, maybe I can come see it!?

I'm doing La Boheme in a last ditch attempt to get back into the theatre scene. No auditions, though, they just needed people and I thought, what the hell. Oh! And I found the school Gay/Straight Alliance. It's called BGLAD: Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian, And Allies for Diversity and they have a meeting tonight. Fun fun.

I do not have a name. I'm one of the various "carnies, tumblers, jugglers, harem girls, sword swallowers, bearded ladies...." in the chorus. Still, I'm just glad I got in. :)

Yeah, you know I have experience with wearing beards on stage. That's probably what I'll end up with. Oh well. Apparently freshman hardly ever make it into these things, so I'm really lucky.

Yeaah! *hugs hugs hugs* That rules! I am so happy for you! What kind of rehersal schedule do you have? You'll get to be around theatre people again. Awesome, awesome. When is it going up, maybe mom and dad could drive down to see it, and pick me up. That would be the best.
