In further developments, I had a informational interview yesterday with an HR person at Time Inc. that went pretty well, as did another interview today at Allure magazine for a sales assistant position for their fashion reps. (Which is cool, because I like clothes, but I hate makeup. My idea of tarting myself up is blow drying my hair and putting on lip gloss.)

HERE'S THE KICKER: After speaking to the Time Inc. woman, I got a call this morning from someone at ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY about a temp position. 3-6 months, sales coordinator or something, who gives a crap because it's ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY. My love for that magazine cannot be textually rendered. I've subscribed to it for like, 6 years. Over a quarter of my whole life. <3 <3 <3

So: !!!!

I have that interview tomorrow, and I also heard from one of the alumni of my publishing program that her job is opening up. She's a publicity assistant for Penguin's SF/F imprints. SHE GOT TO GO TO THE NY COMIC CON FOR HER JOB. ZOMG. (Apparently the woman above her who got to go to San Diego Comic Con didn't even want to go this year. Is she on drugs?? What's her problem?? Though if I had to work at Comic Con and missed out on stalking the cast of SGA and BSG and Heroes that'd be almost worse than not going at all.)

So. Good things on the horizon, I hope. *fingers crossed*
