General Question to SGA Fandom

...or, Meridith is not writing her paper.

Anyway, why hasn't one of the amazing writers we have written the SGA/BSG fusion universe where Rodney is the irascible deck chief, John is the fucked up hotshot pilot, Ford is the speed junkie pilot, Elizabeth is the President.... Teyla finds out she's a cylon! Oh! Or it could be with Rodney as the brilliant scientist and John as the hot cylon in his head! Has anyone done this before?

Or, to make matters simpler, someone should just manip the whole cast in the BSG wifebeaters so we can ogle their guns. Especially Rodney's. The end.

But...but the end. Did that really happen? Tell me you have some really great reason why what they think happened didn't happen that I just missed because I have attention problems.
