There's nothing like writing a paper, specifically your Last English Paper Ever, to make a person download an install a moodtheme instead. (With the help of Flock which uploads batches of photos for you and is pretty cool though I doubt I'll use it much beyond that.)

ismenetruth is my current happy fic place. It's McKay and Sheppard 10+ years in the future, with exactly the kind of relationship I'd always pictured them having. *twirls more* (This is also the fic that made
moonblade85 and I realize that, thanks to fanfiction and our parents, we had a really warped idea of a healthy relationship.)
Also, in vaguely amusing real life news, after graduation I'm going to summer publishing program at NYU- which my parents were going to help pay for at one point, and then my dad decided not to as he didn't see the point when I was already somewhat far along in the interviewing process with this company and what was the point in paying for the program if I probably had a job afterwards? My feeling was that I wanted to do the program regardless, and besides, a couple of phone interviews does not a job offer make.
Anyway, that company was bought by Yahoo! Inc. this week, so that whole recruiting process has been stalled indefinitely. And part of me was like, "Ha." It's not like he's going to pay for it now, but still, I feel justified in doing the program anyway.
