Aug. 18th, 2004 10:13 pmHmm. I doubt I've properly updated this all summer. But since I'll be heading back to school in three days, I figured it was time for the obligatory 'summer's over and I'm heading back to school' post. I've discovered a renewed fondness for lists lately, so...
Things I've Done This Summer:
* Waited tables and made money
* Blew a shitload of said money on TV show series, such as: Coupling, Sports Night, Firefly, due South, and the Man from UNCLE. Have also watched Buffy, Stargate SG1, Starsky and Hutch, and QAF. * Went to parties. Woah.
* Smoked my first cigarette (thank you, Petra).
* Had my first shot (thank you, Petra).
* Smoked weed for the first time and got a little bit stoned.
* Put myself off Tequila for a while.
* Finished, and hopefully posted (*cough* could I please get some feedback?) my god damn fic.
* Went to New York, and various places in Pennslyvania. Realized that yep, family vacations still suck.
* Saw a crap load of movies, some by myself, which was new for here.
* Got caught dancing. This was practically a weekly occurence.
* Got introduced to eBay, which, looking back, was rather unfortunate.
* Continued the trend of buying still more pink things, despite the copious amounts of mocking from people back home. I remain undaunted.
* Teetered.
I'm sure I've forgotten a lot of crap. I'll add more later.
Anyway, soon it will be back to 'Burg, where my life is (and where I am too), not so much better or worse, but rather frightening different from here. I'm a little nervous about that. It's hard keeping two places and two different people together inside you. Transitions are crap. Must cut down on the cursing. At least Erica's bringing liquor with her, so maybe not so different.
