Thanks to Hurricane Isabel, they've canceled all classes until Monday at the earliest. They are evacuating the college by 5:00 tomorrow.
YES!!!
So I get to go home tomorrow. I get to sleep in my room. My room that is dark and has AC and doesn't have annoying frat wahoos screaming outside at odd hours of the morning.
And the best part is, I have plenty of time to catch up on all of my homework. :) Yay!
It also means my dorm room has been completely packed into my closet, in case the windows break or it floods.
I'm taking the train back to D.C. tomorrow morning. Of course this is all after I had already bought the bus ticket to Fredricksburg to see Meg on Friday. Which I'll have to cancel, if that's possible. Mrrh. I hate money. Still this is good, I think.
I haven't updated this in forever, because nothing much has happened to me. I did go to a meeting of this freshman theatre group yesterday, though. It was so nice to be around theatre people. I really missed all the ADDness the humorous interjections that makes it impossible to steer a conversation anywhere.
