Hiya

Hi, it's Mere and this is my first entry in my brand new livejournal. Ooh.

Not much to say. Hopefully that won't become a habit.

About me: I'm 18, soon to be in college, and I plan on using this for posting random essays, updates on my life for my friends, and maybe any other writing I do (not much).

Also, a big thank you to my friend Petra (who's amazing herself) for the code and to her friend cyberferret for giving her said code.

Oh, and as soon as I pick up some html coding, I will fix this color scheme, because right now it kind of makes me ill. :)

Aha!

Ha. It's been like 5 minutes since my last post. I just realized I actually do have something to say. Go me.

So last night, since most of my friends were either out of town or going out of town the next day, me, Petra, Meg and Sonja had a girly sleepover. It was fun. We painted our nails (mine looked as though a five year painted them), watched romantic comedies, stayed up until 4 a.m. and had one of the longest and most amusing conversations about sex ever. hee.

So today I'm exhausted as I had to get up early for people to come clean our house, only they didn't show for the second week in a row. Grr. I would shake my fist, but I am too tired.

Oh, and I'm making progress with chapter 4 of the piece of fanfiction I'm writing, The Blind Date. Ooh. Italics. I am having fun with my rudimentary html knowledge.

I will most likely bitch about this story a lot, as it has been the creative monkey on my back for a while and shows no sign of ending. Ever.
