So. I turned down the job I didn't really want at Penguin in hopes of getting the PlanetOut one. Turns out this might have been a bad decision, considering that I just found out that I didn't get the PlanetOut job (I was runner up, apparently, which is some consolation, at least). So now, am still unemployed. I have some other possible options lined up, so all is not lost. Still, booo.

Thanks, hun. *le sigh*

You've had two job interviews immediately after you finished the program. There will be more. Although I'm sorry you didn't get the PlanetOut job. Buggers don't know what they're missing.

PS. Just finished HP. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! We have to get together and chat sometime soon.

PPS. Do you remember ever writing a fic called Almost Like Brothers? Or did I write it? I just got a fanfic review and I don't remember this story at all.

Yeah, you're right. I'm going to try to be positive about the whole thing.

Also, OMG HP!!!! And yes, I do vaguely remember that one. You definitely wrote it. A loooooong time ago. :) I still get Blind Date reviews, sometimes.

Do you remember what it was about? Because I have no memory of this story...

Still, two promising prospects is an excellent beginning to a job hunt. Plus, my mom always tells me, it's really important to start out on the right foot (meaning a foot pointed towards a career and position you're really interested in) at the beginning because it's so hard to change channels once you get started...I say good on your for having the courage to hold out for what you really want. Plus, you never know, being runner-up may land you a job at that place in the near future since they'll probably hold on to your resume.

It's true, all is not lost. And I *know* it was the right decision, it just doesn't always feel like it. :)

I'M SORRY YOU'RE ACROSS AN OCEAN, AND IF I KNEW I WAS GOING TO BE IN TOWN IN AUGUST I WOULD PICK YOU UP FROM THE AIRPORT LIEK WOAH.
