I've heard from (as yet unconfirmed sources) that Everwood is not getting picked up by the CW next year. Fine. I should have seen this coming.

Supernatural fen, I am happy you got renewed and all, and maybe I might try to catch up on episodes before next season, even though the fandom seems to be all incest and RPS, which, ironically enough, are the two lines I can never fully cross (and I've tried! Honestly! It just doesn't do it for me).

I find myself, however, to be completely perplexed and even pissed off that somehow, against all sense of reason and justice and common fucking sense, One Tree Hill and 7th Heaven- which, hello, didn't it just finally give its last loooong awaited death rattle??- are somehow getting renewed for next year instead of Everwood. WTF, Universe? W.T.F. When things don't work out the way I think they should, the way they ought to, it just bothers me so much, even with something as relatively stupid as this.

What? No Everwood? But...but Andy and Nina still have to get together! And Ephram and Amy are all at loose ends! And they just introduced a new cute foreign guy for Hannah!

I know! The sad part is that Everwood has so many stories left in it, unlike 7th Heaven which just uses weddings and babies in place of anything remotely resembling plot or character development. *still frustrated*

It's true. I was pissed that this week was the season finale becuase (compared to other episodes) it sucked.

Not like I was really expecting that to happen, but they totally rushed Kyle's character arc, probably because they were preparing for the axe. Actually the show in general has felt pretty rushed lately undoubtedly for the same reasons. Oh well. *le sigh*

Yeah, it has. I mean, I'm pretty sure they knew it was going to be cancelled. Entertainment Weekly has been ranting about it for a while now (the editor, or some writer loves Everwood and always talks about it). It wasn't even the end of a school year or anything. They just had to add more drama.

Agreed. And yeah, the Entertainment Weekly people have always loved Everwood, even through Season 3, which I've always thought was the most unfocused and sketchy of all the seasons.

True fans are always devoted to their shows through good times and bad. :D
