Signed up for a freshman seminar yesterday morning at 7:30 when the time window opened. At least that's what I thought I did. Normally, during these things, if it's not in your time window, they won't let you register. But no. So me (and a lot of other people) ended up registering for a freshman seminar like two minutes before we were supposed to. And when you do that, they end up dropping you from the course. But, as my computer is still dead, I couldn't check my e-mail to find this out until like 11:00 pm yesterday. So I ended up re-registering for a seminar ages after everyone else did. Which means, instead of taking a really cool one, next semester I will be taking a seminar on World Music and World Religion.

Yay.

Is there anyway you can appeal? What was the class meant to be on?

No, no chance for appealing. It happened to a lot of people and there's nothing we can do about it.

I was going to take either a seminar on "The History of the Family in Medieval Europe" or "The Nature and Environment of Middle Earth". Yes, as in Lord of the Rings. *le sigh* It probably won't be that bad, though.

Ouch! The LotR one sounds cool....
