Haha. To answer your questions: No, I don't they're allowed, and yeah I'm sure their is a further point but I'm a little fuzzy on it right now. :)
Details: It was a kind of random occurence. I volunteered to sell Bone Marrow Drive T-shirts to raise money for the drive last Friday. I happened to be working with the President of Phi Mu. We got along really great, and she invited me to this Halloween pumpkin carving social thing this past Wednesday. My good friend Liz is a sister so she introduced me around. And then Thursday Liz had a birthday party, which was pretty much all Phis (and that's the night I got really drunk and with the streaking and everything). And then last night I went to a party with a bunch of them and then I got a bid today. So it happened rather randomly fast. I won't actually be inducted until the sping, but I still get to do stuff this semester. :)
Everyone's really nice though. And I think it's gonna be fun. And I have aspirations to chair their philanthropy committee before I graduate.
Awesome. By the way, I just went to the actual website for your lj, and you're a complete tool for using T.S. Eliot as your comments, but it pleased me greatly.

Hmm. That's enough rambling from me.
