I'm sure most of my fandom friends are familiar with the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
crack_van. I stumbled on the crack_van shortly after its inception; it was instrumental in bringing me out of my Harry Potter/FF.net phase (I know!) and into my lj period.
Anyway, I still check up on it occasionally, and it looks like there's a lot of new fandoms making the rounds in December. People are doing Idolslash (which, um, only![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
astolat can make me read), and Chuck and Primeval and whatnot.
I'm the most excited aboutallyndra (a Chad/Ryan shipper!) reccing High School Musical and goddessdster reccing Hot Fuzz! I've never gotten super fannish about either, but I figure I should start squirreling away my fandom acorns for the post-Merlin 1.13 winter that's coming.
Anyway, it's definitely worth a look if you're bored. :)
Also, meetinglinaerys for dinner tonight! We're going to Velselka, which should be fun. Pierogies and Merlin-squee, mmm.

Yeah, I just hope people start writing tons of fic. Maybe it will have one of those post-Series 1 explosions (like SGA) where everyone and their mother gets sucked in to the fandom.
